In France, this team comprises 50 professionals dedicated to crisis and underperformance situations. It assists companies, creditors, shareholders, and investors in preventing difficulties and addressing complex situations, including:
- Performing independent business reviews (IBR) in debt restructuring contexts.
- Supporting companies in amicable or collective proceedings.
- Assisting candidates in the acquisition of activities/assets in "distressed M&A" sale plans at the commercial court.
- Implementing cash flow forecasting tools, improving cash management, and optimizing Working Capital Requirement (WCR).
Within the PwC Deals team, you will evolve in a demanding and dynamic environment and intervene on varied projects addressing significant stakes for our clients. What you can expect from us:
You will participate in supporting our clients on high-added-value projects such as:
- Conducting financial, strategic, and operational underperformance diagnostics (in collaboration with PwC's Strategy& or Consulting teams) to understand the bases on which the company can build a credible restructuring solution.
- Assistance within the framework of amicable or collective procedures (advising candidates for the acquisition of a company before the commercial court, supporting managers at different stages of the procedure...).
- Consulting for the improvement of working capital.
- Consulting in cash management.
- Support in the acquisition or sale of underperforming companies.
- Performing due diligence in a "distress" context.
As an experienced analyst, under the direct responsibility of your associate or manager, you will be required to lead missions and supervise a team of collaborators.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:

Your daily missions will include:
- Analyzing financial data as part of historical performance analyses or business plan reviews.
- Modeling companies' operating and cash flow forecasts.
- Synthesizing key ideas and identified risks.
- Drafting reports (often in English) submitted to our clients (companies, investment funds...) and stakeholders (creditors, banks, shareholders, judicial administrators, CIRI, commercial courts...).
- Participating in client relations and the commercial development of the team.
- Contributing to the development of analysts by providing them with coaching and feedback.
