As a Senior Associate, you will support engagement managers in delivering innovative accounting, financial reporting, and reporting system solutions for clients across diverse industries including financial services. You will gain hands on exposure to complex transactions, reporting frameworks, and finance technology projects, allowing you to build strong technical depth and broad implementation experience. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving sophisticated accounting challenges, driving system changes, and working in dynamic project environments with cross functional teams.
Your primary responsibilities will involve providing support to the engagement manager in the following areas:
- Reporting System and Implementation: Implement new accounting and reporting standards into client systems, models, controls, and operational processes. Providing end-to-end solutions to reporting systems implementation including consolidation, FP&A and reporting tools.
- Reporting Process Improvements Finance Function Support: Assist clients in preparing financial statements, including carve outs, pro forma statements, and complex disclosure requirements. Support client in closing including performing complex accounting calculation, process invoices and payment etc.
- Transaction & IPO Support: Participate in structuring financial transactions and product features from an accounting and reporting perspective. Support clients through their IPO or other capital market journeys, including developing accounting policies and documentation and enhancing reporting processes including automation / reporting system.
- Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting: Provide technical accounting advisory across IFRS and various GAAP requirements, including deep involvement in IFRS 9 and other emerging standards. Support the review, assessment, and validation of expected credit loss (ECL) models and methodologies.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Ideally a graduate with accounting or finance qualification.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience with an international public accounting firm or financial institution with experience in accounting advisory, statutory audit or financial reporting.
