Your impact As a
Logistics and Distribution Specialist, you will: advise our clients on location selection decisions, distribution networks, transport management, and warehousing perform strategic analyses and carry out DCF analyses help prepare, plan and implement all aspects of large
business transformation programmes support mixed teams of both colleagues and clients and work with client resources to get to know their organisation, operations and requirements (incl. international travel) analyse identified issues and develop an approach to manage and solve them proactively develop a tailored approach to enable successful implementation and sustained results develop long-term, qualitative working relations with clients make and present presentations in English to management and boardroom work together with and contribute to PwC’s international network of logistics specialists support marketing initiatives and develop publications supporting PwC’s thought leadership in

Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Education: Master’s in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or Sciences, or comparable experience, potentially with a specialisation in Operations Research.
- Experience: 2 to 8 years’ business experience or track record in logistics consulting.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on expertise working with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
- Affinity with advanced data analytics (PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.) and AI solutions for simulation and analysis.
- Experience with Coupa or AIMMS is a must.
- Subject Matter Affinity: A strong affinity with and an interest in supply chain & logistics, as well as with competitive footprint and location strategy.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably experience with advanced linear programming and other quantitative optimisation modelling techniques, as well as a good understanding of financial project appraisal including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
- Work Environment Flexibility: Flexibility to work in various national and international environments and to easily acquire new skills and expertise.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Teamwork/Independence: Enjoy working both in teams and on your own in a fast-changing, international environment.
- Business Development Interest: Interested in helping us grow our business by developing market-relevant expertise and solutions.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
