Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Our client is currently seeking a confident and motivated professional to join a dynamic team in Ely. This is a fantastic chance to work on a diverse range of projects, taking ownership of commercial management while contributing to a growing business.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of quantity surveying and estimating from pre-contract to post-contract services. You will also assist in preparing final accounts and claims to ensure our client’s commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating services, including Bill of Quantities (BQ) production
- Delivering quantity surveying services across projects
- Providing commercial and financial advice to maximise value recovery
- Managing procurement and contract negotiations
- Ensuring cost control and cash flow management
- Managing subcontractor packages and protecting contractual positions
- Assisting with final accounts and claim documentation
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the business
What They’re Looking For:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Degree or Master’s in a relevant field
- RICS or CICES qualification (or working towards accreditation)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with planning software
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work
- Full UK work eligibility and a valid driving licence
