Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are currently supporting a leading Engineering and Construction company in the UAE in their search for a Site Architect to join their growing team to be based in Dubai.
This role is responsible for ensuring that architectural designs are accurately implemented on-site during construction. The Site Architect will act as a key liaison between the design team, consultants, and construction teams to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Review and implement architectural drawings and specifications on site
- Supervise architectural works to ensure quality and compliance with design intent
- Coordinate with MEP, structural teams, and subcontractors to resolve site issues
- Prepare and review shop drawings and material submittals
- Conduct site inspections, snagging, and ensure timely rectification
- Monitor progress and report on architectural activities
- Ensure compliance with project standards, authorities, and HSE requirements
- Maintain as-built drawings and support project handover
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience as a Site Architect within a contracting company (strong contracting experience is essential)
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution
- Experience in reviewing shop drawings and material submittals
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage
