Assistant Director (Student Support) S3C at National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST).

Key Responsibilities:
To support the establishment and operations of the Student Support Services Centre (S3C) as a centralized, one-window facilitation platform for student services, ensuring efficient coordination between students as well as relevant university departments for seamless service delivery.
- Serve as a first point of contact for students for all support-related queries and services
- Manage and oversee one-window service desk operations, ensuring timely handling of requests and complaints
- Ensure effective case tracking, timely follow-up, escalation, and closure mechanism
- Assist in defining workflows, user requirements, and service processes for digital platforms
- Monitor system effectiveness and recommend enhancements for improved user experience
- Identify trends and suggest process improvements for service efficiency
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments and student bodies, clubs, and societies for required facilitation
- Facilitate communication between students and relevant offices while maintaining defined authority structures
- Coordinate with Provide coordination support for activities involving multiple stakeholders
- Oversee dissemination of information related to student services through official platforms
- Support content development for websites, portals, and social media to enhance visibility of S3C services
- Assist in development and implementation of SOPs, service standards, and operational frameworks for S3C
- Contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery mechanisms

Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Qualification:Minimum 18 years of education; in Management Sciences, Public Administration / Governance, Business Administration, Development Studies, Human Resource Management or equivalent from HEC recognized University.
Experience:
Essential Experience
5-7 years of overall work experience and 3-5 years of relevant experience in Technical coordination, Liaison between non-technical and technical teams, databases management, reporting and dashboarding
Desirable Experience
Prior experience within a university environment and student services is desirable
General Conditions:

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.
