Role Overview:
Applications are invited for a one-year Fellowship in Body Imaging. The selected candidates will be exposed to complex and challenging general and oncology cases. The Radiology Department and its satellite centre are equipped with 2 x 1.5T and open MRI systems including our Philips Ingenia 1.5 Tesla scanner capable of whole body MRI, DWI & single and multivoxel MR spectroscopy with its intracranial and extracranial applications, DTI and tractography and MRI guided intervention and biopsies. We have 2 x 64 multi-detector CTs capable of doing high end CT guided peripheral and visceral angiographies, coronary angiograms and advanced 3D techniques. We have high-end ultrasound suites with facilities for guided intervention. The Hospital Information System and Radiology Information System (RIS) rely on PACS in our filmless department. We have excellent Research facilities and working environment to promote Research.
Job Description:
- The selected candidates are expected to provide clinical service predominantly in CT, MRI and guided biopsies. The Fellows are also expected to assist in some specialized ultrasound with guided and general Radiology work.
- The selected candidates will also actively participate in the MDTs covering a wide range of Adult and Pediatric oncological case mix and our most diverse GI & HCC MDTs.
- The successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and research.
- One peer review publication during this year would be essential.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- MBBS
- FCPS or equivalent in Radiology (essential)
- Previous research experience (desirable)
