Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the technical department, aligning its goals with the overall company objectives.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and planning to execution, commissioning, and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Review and approve technical designs, calculations, and drawings to ensure they meet all relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, resolving complex engineering challenges that arise during project execution.
- Collaborate with the commercial, procurement, and project management teams to provide technical support and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering).
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in a technical leadership role, with a proven track record in the construction or engineering industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of international engineering standards (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, ASME) and building codes.
- Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis, design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro), and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
