About the role As the Assistant Manager of our All-day dining French bistro Jardin, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading day-to-day operations with a focus on delivering a high-quality, exceptional dining experience. You will supervise service teams, ensure guest satisfaction, uphold brand standards, and drive operational efficiency across breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner service. What you will do Team Supervision & Development: Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training front-of-house staff. Lead daily briefings, assign duties, and supervise team performance. Mentor staff in French cuisine knowledge, wine pairing, and service etiquette. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment with a strong customer focus. Operations & Administration: Ensure daily opening and closing procedures are followed correctly. Oversee reservations, table management, and waitlist coordination. Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards. Monitor cleanliness, décor, and overall ambiance of the restaurant to maintain French bistro standards. Inventory & Cost Control: Assist in inventory management, ordering, and supplier coordination. Support budget adherence by managing labor costs and minimizing wastage. Perform daily and weekly stock checks; report discrepancies. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficient in POS systems, reservation platforms, and Microsoft Office. Hospitality degree or equivalent qualification is a plus.
