Job Overview
Role: Pharmacy Technician - Eligibility Data Entry Specialist - National Certification. Department: Patient Support Center - New England. Location: Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform benefits investigations and verify insurance coverage
- Utilize approved tools, EMR systems, and Pharmacy Dispensing Systems (PDS)
- Review patient medical records to confirm medication regimens
- Accurately document investigation outcomes
- Collaborate with team members to support high-quality patient care
- Identify trends, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements
- Participate in ongoing operational and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and organizational information
- Stay current through professional development and training
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn EMR and PDS platforms
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity with ability to handle confidential healthcare data
- Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
