We are looking to fill a future vacancy for an Intelligent Controls & Automation (ICA) Engineer to join our team in Brantford, Ontario at our Greater Toronto Fulfillment Centre (GTFC). The ICA Technical Engineer is part of the engineering organization to invent, develop, reapply, and deliver breakthrough process and packing technologies within the manufacturing environment.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Develop and maintain electrical and controls technical documentation for area of ownership, including but not limited to design basis, user requirements, schematics, scope, and instructions related to electrical equipment, network architecture, and software design. Skills/Qualifications Required to Successfully Perform Role (some may be developed while in role) Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering (or other related degree and/or work-related experience). Skills to program industrial PLC & HMI (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, Schneider, Eaton, etc.) Ability to read and understand electrical single line drawings, flow sheets, layouts, electrical schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) Ability to adapt quickly to changes in project scope, schedule, and cost. Strong leadership, business problem definition, and priority setting skills. Skills to analyze software related issues.
