Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Interior Fit Out Contractor in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing costs, preparing tender documents, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress and costs to prevent budget overruns.
- Prepare interim and final payment valuations and reports.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to minimize financial risks.
- Maintain accurate records of costs, contracts, and project documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the interior fit out industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, and contract administration.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in relevant software such as CostX, MS Excel, or similar tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good understanding of local construction laws and standards.
Salary:AED 12,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
