Role: Summer Producer Intern. Department: Media Content Group - Content. Location: State College, PA.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Producer Intern to join our content team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside Executive Producers and Senior Producers on daily network programming, while also contributing to digital content initiatives.
Responsibilities:· Assist Executive and Senior Producers with the development and execution of daily network shows
· Support show production, including research, scripting, and segment development
· Respond quickly to breaking news and weather situations, contributing to the news team's coverage.
· Help identify and source compelling video content for broadcast and digital platforms
· Write and edit scripts for television and digital use
· Participate in control room operations and gain exposure to live production workflows
· Collaborate with team members to support content across multiple platforms
Qualifications:
· Strong interest in broadcast production, journalism, or digital media
· Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
· Familiarity with current events and storytelling for TV and digital platforms is a plus
