Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Qualification:

  BScN/ Diploma in General Nursing

• Experience:

  Fresh with BscN or minimum 1 Year of relevant experience with diploma

Job Description / Notes:

• Receive patients with consent forms.
• Ensure consent forms have the correct patient information and have been signed by the concerned authority.
• Ensure patients are shifted to pre-operative recovery properly, monitors are attached and pre-operative recovery management is fulfilled.
• Assist in post procedure recovery, after patients are received from the OR with specimens.
• Perform cannulation in recovery room, attaching fluid as required.
• Monitor and verify patient’s dietary status and NPO times.
• Shift patients to OR, following all protocols and ensure proper handover to Technicians / Senior Technicians.
• Update patient’s history and details on the HMIS.
• Shift patients from recovery to wards, following all protocols and ensure proper handover to ward staff.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor / Head of Department.
• The Recovery Staff Nurse is responsible for the smooth management of recovery patients (pre and post), and all related daily operations.
