Eligibility / Qualification Required:
A well-established interiors and refurbishment main contractor, specialising in high-quality projects across commercial and industrial sectors are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team due to continued growth.
The Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in securing new business by preparing accurate and competitive tenders. They tender projects typically ranging from £1m to £5m, delivering exceptional results for their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for refurbishment and fit-out projects (£1m-£5m).
- Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify project scope and risks.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Develop tender strategies to maximise win rates and profitability.
- Work closely with the pre-construction and contracts teams to ensure seamless project handover.
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in the interiors and refurbishment sector.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
