This is what you will do: You will work in an inclusive, multidisciplinary team of cybersecurity specialists. Together with colleagues and technology partners (e.g., Microsoft, Google), you deliver results on challenging assignments in the financial sector and continuously learn through coaching and knowledge sharing. You advise financial institutions on security strategy and translate this into concrete initiatives, roadmaps, and an appropriate organizational structure (security operating model and governance). You ensure that security supports the business, not hinders it, and that management receives the right insights through clear reports. You lead and coach consultants, are a content sparring partner at C-level, and increase our visibility in the market by steering propositions and business development. You work with recognized frameworks (such as NIST CSF, ISO27k) and relevant FS regulations (DORA etc.).

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Advise C-level and quickly align diverse stakeholders.
• Design and improve security governance, processes, perform maturity assessments, and operating models (incl. Three Lines of Defense).
• Assess risks and threats and translate them into an actionable roadmap with measures at organizational and technological levels.
• Lead and coach consultants; ensure quality of deliverables and management reports.
• Build customer relationships and (further) develop our market proposition and business development.
• Communicate clearly, connect interests and create movement in complex environments.
• Take initiative, drive results, and help others grow with targeted coaching.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity/information security within the financial sector.
• Experience with security strategy, governance and operating models.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF and ISO27k and of FS regulations such as DNB Good Practice, DORA and EBA/EIOPA/ESMA guidelines.
• Strong in stakeholder management and advising at C-level, with excellent written and oral communication.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus; relevant certifications (CISSP/CISM/CRISC or similar) are a plus.
