Job Overview
Role: Pharmacy Technician - Patient Liaison - Bilingual Spanish. Department: UMass Memorial Medical Center. Location: Worcester, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Deliver high-touch patient support, managing each patient's journey from onboarding through refills
🔹 Coordinate timely medication deliveries and manage refill schedules
🔹 Proactively address insurance, prior authorization, financial assistance, and copay challenges
🔹 Monitor and promote medication adherence to support positive patient outcomes
🔹 Collaborate closely with clinical pharmacists, providers, and clinic staff to quickly resolve issues
🔹 Serve as a trusted patient advocate and resource for individuals navigating complex specialty therapies
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
✔ Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of employment
✔ 2–5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
✔ High School Diploma or GED
⭐ CPhT Certification (highly valued)
⭐ 5–8 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
