Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a HEC-recognized university, PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration required

Job Description:
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, structures, and civil works (walls, roofs, flooring, ceilings, waterproofing, drainage systems).
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for civil assets across clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Coordinate minor and major repair works including plastering, tiling, painting, and masonry.
- Supervise civil works for renovations, expansions, and new construction projects within the hospital premises.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and cost estimates for civil works.
- Monitor contractor performance, quality of workmanship, and adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure all civil works comply with building codes, fire safety regulations, and infection control requirements applicable to healthcare facilities.
- Support accreditation-related civil infrastructure requirements (e.g. JCI/SAMA).
- Maintain documentation for structural integrity assessments, waterproofing certifications, and safety audits.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and material suppliers for civil works execution.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and ensure work is executed per approved scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Verify contractor bills/invoices against work completed on-site.
- Maintain as-built drawings, layout plans, and civil asset registers.
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports on ongoing civil works and maintenance activities.
- Support the Facilities Management team in budget planning for civil works and R&M (Repair & Maintenance).
- Work closely with Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, and BMS teams for integrated facility upkeep.
- Coordinate with clinical departments to schedule civil works with minimal disruption to hospital operations.
- Respond promptly to civil-related complaints logged through the FM complaints system.
