How You’ll Make An Impact
The
Senior Director of Enterprise Applications is a high-impact leadership role accountable for the strategic vision, operational excellence, and transformative evolution of the firm’s global application ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this leader will oversee critical systems—including Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, and Workday—to support core business functions such as FP&A, Revenue/GTM, and Support/Services.
We are seeking a transformation-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, possesses a "can-do" attitude, and can influence stakeholders at the highest levels. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of delivering enterprise level order to cash transformation initiatives and demonstrated understanding or experience with building and leveraging automations and agents in core workflows and tasks.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Vision & Digital Transformation:
- Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise applications strategy that aligns with global business priorities and an AI.
- AI & Automation Leadership: Lead the integration of cutting-edge technology, including AI governance and Agent development frameworks, to drive internal productivity and innovation.
- Enterprise Architecture: Drive system evaluation, rationalization, and optimization to ensure a cohesive digital ecosystem via modern APIs and middleware.
Operational Excellence:
- Service Level Management: Ensure enterprise platforms consistently meet or exceed established SLAs for performance, availability, and issue resolution.
- Quote-to-Cash Expertise: Oversee the modernization and lifecycle management of critical Quote-to-Cash teams and systems to ensure seamless business operations.
- Compliance & Security: Maintain rigorous standards for data privacy and audit requirements, including GDPR, SOC2, and multi-jurisdictional data residency.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Executive Presence: Partner with global business leaders and present strategic roadmaps and investment cases to the executive team.
- People Leadership: Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of approximately 50 solution architects, analysts, system administrators, developers and other technical SMEs.
- Vendor Governance: Manage strategic relationships and SOWs with key partners, ensuring spend is optimized against commitments.
- Change Management: Facilitate cross-functional governance and drive high user adoption for all application investments.
- Enterprise Applications Spend: Strategically manage Application spend and control costs by mitigating application sprawl and rationalizing the technology portfolio to realize run-rate savings.
The Experience You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership in enterprise applications within a global, matrixed SaaS organization.
- Technical Mastery: Extensive experience supporting and evolving major platforms including Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, and Workday.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of successfully executing large-scale strategic transformation programs and complex integration projects.

- SaaS Acumen: Deep understanding of cloud architectures, subscription models, and cross-platform interoperability.

Compensation and Benefits Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position ranges from $205K - $282K. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
