Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are working on behalf of a well-established, growing main contractor based in Hertfordshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a smaller, personable business delivering a wide range of projects across North London, primarily through the Haringey.
The Company
Our client is a reputable main contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work. They specialise in refurbishment schemes across the healthcare and public sectors, delivering projects typically ranging from £300k to £2 million.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from start to completion, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Duties will include:
- Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades/subcontractors
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Managing programme and progress reporting
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Maintaining quality control across all phases of the project
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within a main contractor environment
- Experience delivering refurbishment projects (ideally healthcare/public sector)
- Ability to manage projects within the £300k–£2m range
- Must be able to work across North London
Essential qualifications:
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid Certificate
