Eligibility / Qualification Required:

Job Description:

Ensure smooth operation of generators (500 and 100KVA).
Verify the safety / parameters of gensets daily.
Monitor all preventive maintenance works performed by vendors.
Coordinate with the manager regarding any complaints or requisitions related to the generators.
Ensure electricity is properly switched to and from the generators.
Plan and implement safety steps and procedures for the generators.
Monitor and ensure maintenance of fuel, radiator water and oil levels in the generator sets daily.
Monitor and ensure maintenance of generator radiator and dynamo belts tension.
Record hourly readings of the generator while being used. These include oil pressure, water temperature, load on each phase, physical condition of turbo chargers, etc.
Ensure working condition of the generator sets but monitoring smoke levels from the exhaust.
Monitor AVR and ensure smooth operations of the alternator linked to the generator sets.
Maintain daily logs and reports of generator sets.
Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor / Head of Department.
