Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites applications from qualified individuals (both male and female) for various posts in Primary & Secondary Health Care Facilities of the province on fixed pay basis for a period of (01) year and further extendible based on satisfactory performance.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• DBS or equivalent Qualification from a recognized University.
• Completion of House Job Training.
• Valid PMDC registration.
• No age limit.

Candidates must fulfill all prescribed qualifications and other requirements as per the applicable service rules before the closing date of applications. In case of foreign qualifications, registration by PMDC/PNC is mandatory.

How to Apply:

Applications must be submitted in hard to the concerned Divisional Commissioners along with all relevant documents within the due date. Incomplete or late applications shall not be entertained.
Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application with documents for each post.
Candidates shall apply by indicating facility-wise as per the list of facility vide at www.healthkp.gov.pk.
Health Facility based Merit list shall be finalized by concerned committee.

General Conditions:

2. Nature of Appointment:

The positions shall be filled in accordance with the KP Health Department Contract Appointment of Doctors (Fixed Pay) Rules, 2022 amended time to time. These are non-transferable, non-pensionable, and non-permanent contract appointments. The appointment shall be for a period of one (01) year against a specific health facility and shall not confer any right of regularization. Extension may be granted under the relevant rules subject to satisfactory performance and departmental requirements.

4. Interviews by the Departmental Selection Committee:

Interviews shall be conducted by the Departmental Selection Committee constituted in accordance with the relevant rules. Only shortlisted/eligible candidates shall be called for interviews, as per the schedule notified by the concerned Commissioners Office.

5. Scrutiny Committee:

A Scrutiny Committee shall examine applications and verified documents of candidates to determine their eligibility in accordance with the prescribed criteria. Only candidates declared eligible by the Scrutiny Committee shall be considered for further stages of the recruitment process.

6. Government Employees:

A Medical Officer/Dental Surgeon/Nurse, already working in the Public Sector, may apply for the contract appointment under Rule 7(2)(1) of the Contract Rules, provide he shall resign from the existing post, so that there is no movement of doctors within the system.

7. Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRC) & General Instructions:

A Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) shall be constituted to address complaints arising out of the recruitment process. Aggrieved candidates may submit written representations within the prescribed timeframe, and the decision of the GRC shall be final. No TA/DA shall be admissible for interview. Errors or omissions in the advertisement, including the number of posts, are subject to rectification by the department.

8. Selection Criteria:

The selection criteria for the aforementioned positions shall be governed by Rule 14 of the Initial Recruitment Rules, 2026.

10. Validity of Merit List:

The merit list shall remain valid for one (01) year from the date of interview.
