This position supports Head and Regional Executives in all HR related matters, including HR Planning, Recruitment, Induction, Placement, Transfer / Postings, Job Rotations, Performance Management, and Exit. The role involves overall sanctioning of all kinds of staff benefits, such as Staff Loans, Medical and other benefits of employees in the region. Key responsibilities include managing all end service benefits cases of the retired, dismissed and deceased employees including timely disbursement of pending dues, incentives and rewards, and handling all HR related disciplinary and litigation cases, in line with policies. Follow up on all cases with Head Office and Regional Office for timely resolution of the same and manage all grievances assigned by Head Office / Regional Office and ensure their timely resolution. The role also assists Head Office / Senior HR Business Partner in handling staff litigation cases to ensure compliance in HR operations / activities in SAP-HCM. Monitoring Bank's Code of Conduct and HR policies related to time and attendance, job objectives, counseling, mentoring, disciplinary cases to Senior HRBP for smooth implementation, and ensuring implementation of related policies and discipline in regional office and branches. Responsibilities extend to maintaining and updating records of leaves, transfers, postings, promotions, job objectives, compensation, payroll and benefits etc. of the employees of entire region, and generating HR related reports and staff data for management as assigned by the supervisor(s).

The role also leads and manages the Bank's end-to-end performance management framework, from policy formulation and execution to comprehensive assessment, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and market best practices. This includes driving and overseeing performance appraisal activities and processes involving concerned stakeholders to roll out performance appraisal activities and ensure informed decision-making. The individual will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring performance management policies by coordinating with all stakeholders and ensuring compliance with the laid down policies and procedures. Conducting thorough analysis of appraisal forms, patterns and historic data for suggestion of performance improvement and identification of potential high achievers is also a key task. Ensuring proper maintenance of performance record and to digitize the record of appraisal forms and data for safe keeping and prompt availability. Responding to requests and records pertaining to performance management for any requesting external agencies, courts of law, management, etc. and retrieving and providing information, forms, facts and any other information needed by Legal Division or HR Operations for any case related to performance management of employees and / or for reporting to P&RMW by coordinating with necessary department. The position may also involve executing any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent (16/18 years of education) from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by HEC in Pakistan.
  • Preferred Qualification: Master's degree in HR and / or Public Administration would be preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Performance Management and / or Compensation and / or related experience in the banking sector.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office suite.
  • Other Skills: Good interpersonal skills would be preferred.
