About the role Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is looking for an on-call massage therapist. As an integral member of the Spa, the Massage Therapist position performs body treatments according to established Four Seasons protocols. The Massage Therapist also complies with Four Seasons core and culture standards. This position ensures all guests experience pure peace and relaxation. We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of various treatment protocols and all candidates must have a current qualification and massage license, where applicable. This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position. Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required. All candidates will have a warm and welcome smile and a positive attitude. What you will do Set-up and maintain Spa including refreshments inâ¯pre-treatment and treatment areas.⯠Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism;â¯accommodateâ¯special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection withâ¯Spa services.â¯â¯ Assist guestsâ¯to their appointments as they relate to Spa services.â¯â¯ Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenitiesâ¯within theâ¯treatmentâ¯roomâ¯and loungesâ¯and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.â¯â¯ Ensure treatment roomsâ¯areâ¯fully stocked with linen and supplies at all times.â¯â¯ Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary and Staff Room.â¯â¯ Appropriately utilizeâ¯reservation systems, maintenanceâ¯records, and Guest Experience databaseâ¯as vehicles of communication to ensure guestâ¯satisfaction with all services provided.â¯â¯ Adhere to Four Seasons standards and massage andâ¯body treatment sequencesâ¯of service.⯠Properlyâ¯prepare, operate, and clean/sanitize all equipment in theâ¯treatmentâ¯rooms andâ¯Spa areas.⯠Ensure compliance of daily and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of treatment rooms are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.â¯â¯ Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
