Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are partnering with a well-established organization in the UAE to appoint a senior leader who will oversee the operations and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure and engineering assets.
This role will play a key part in ensuring operational continuity, asset reliability, and overall performance, while driving efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement across complex operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operations and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure assets across multiple sites
- Develop and execute strategies to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Oversee maintenance programs, including preventive and corrective activities
- Ensure uninterrupted operations while managing risks, incidents, and operational challenges
- Drive performance through KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and develop high-performing technical and operational teams
- Oversee budgets, cost control, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
- Manage external contractors, vendors, and service providers
- Identify opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and technology adoption
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or similar) is an advantage
- Strong experience in operations and maintenance within large-scale infrastructure or industrial environments
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams and multi-site operations
- Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance strategies
- Experience in budgeting, planning, and performance management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
