The Digital Proximity Wing is focused on driving initiatives in merchant payment acceptance and communication strategies in the proximity payment market. The role involves representing the Digital Proximity Wing at all levels, presenting business performance to senior management and the board, building relationships with regulators, industry bodies, and key partners, and participating in industry forums and payment ecosystem discussions.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Candidates strictly meeting the basic eligibility criteria will be invited. The suitable candidate will possess skills and experience in:
- Communication: Representing the Digital Proximity Wing at all levels, presenting business performance to senior management and board, building relationships with regulators, industry bodies, and key partners, and participating in industry forums and payment ecosystem discussions.
- Merchant Strategy: Developing comprehensive merchant onboarding strategies focusing on SME, retail, and corporate merchants; driving adoption across different merchant segments and industries; identifying strategies for new proximity payment products and services; and driving achievement of acquisition targets and revenue growth objectives.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensuring adherence with SBP regulations, PCI-DSS, and security standards for all merchants; developing and implementing management frameworks for proximity payment channels; identifying, assessing, and mitigating fraud patterns, and risk controls for merchant acquiring channels; and ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements.
- Product & Operations: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and business groups for acquiring business opportunities; ensuring robust coordination between product development and business execution; and ensuring compliance across all proximity acquiring channels.
- Performance Management: Defining KPIs for Digital Proximity Product and Digital Proximity Business and Wing operations and team members; providing guidance and mentorship to unit heads and senior team members; ensuring continuous capability building within the Wing; and performing other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s).
