The Application Evolution Services team is a part of PwC Poland. Our work requires constant monitoring of the operation of applications and real-time response. We also improve existing products and introduce new functionalities, so that applications can advance in parallel with our clients’ growth. We deploy the most innovative Customer Experience solutions for our clients. We are looking for: Development Manager with German. Your future role will involve leading and managing a team of SAP developers and consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery and resource allocation. This role drives planning, execution, and continuous improvement of SAP development projects, aligning outcomes with client objectives and PwC best practices. You will collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Fostering agile and DevOps methodologies is key to boosting productivity, accelerating delivery, and maintaining code quality. Responsibilities also include monitoring progress, resolving blockers, and managing risks to ensure timely delivery of SAP solutions. You will promote professional development through mentoring, training, and constructive feedback, and implement best practices in SAP development, including code reviews, automated testing, and documentation standards. Managing budgeting, capacity planning, and reporting to support operational and strategic decisions are also part of this critical role.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP incident/problem management and implementing customer-specific enhancements (change requests).
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Excellent written and spoken German.
- Strong technical background in SAP technologies, including ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and experience with SAP development tools and frameworks (e.g., RAP, CDS, ODATA).
- Experience working in agile environments and knowledge of DevOps practices for SAP.
- Knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling modules.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional development teams, delivering high-quality solutions on time.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent relevant education.
