Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to work as a Locum Consultant Radiologist at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar, Pakistan, in order to help with diagnostic ultrasound worklists.
The appointee will be expected to be proficient in all aspects of ultrasound and have good core knowledge in other diagnostic radiology modalities. The job plan will encompass in- and out-of-hours ultrasound lists on weekdays as well as on weekends.
The major purpose of this post is to strengthen diagnostic ultrasound services at the hospital and to participate in delivery of training for our planned sonology training programme. The individual appointed will be expected to work with radiographers, staff and managers to ensure adherence to established quality assurance and quality practice guidelines and standards.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- FCPS in radiology with two years of post-fellowship experience in a recognized institution (or equivalent).
- Full registration with the PMDC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
