As a Senior Consultant within the public sector, you contribute to strengthening risk management within public organizations. You work on challenging assignments for directorates, contribute to technology-driven transformations and translate complex laws and regulations into practical control measures that actually have an impact in daily practice. You work on assignments for FEZ directors, CIOs and Audit heads, and thus move in both the financial and digitalization columns. This includes implementing risk management frameworks, improving operational and IT processes, and guiding organizations through complex transformations and digitalization trajectories. You also help government organizations with the responsible use of AI and algorithms, integrally including laws and regulations, compliance, privacy and digital resilience. In addition, you help Internal Audit functions broaden their focus to current technological and social issues, such as cybersecurity, cloud transformations, digital sovereignty and responsible AI use. With a combination of substantive expertise, technology and change management, you help organizations achieve sustainable improvements and develop yourself into a versatile advisor. Where possible, you use innovative technologies, such as Generative AI, to work smarter, faster and more effectively. Dit ga je doen
Onze Senior Consultants werken aan opdrachten met directe maatschappelijke impact. Als Senior Consultant binnen de publieke sector draag je bij aan het versterken van risicomanagement binnen publieke organisaties. Je werkt aan uitdagende opdrachten voor directies, draagt bij aan technologiegedreven transformaties en vertaalt complexe wet- en regelgeving naar praktische beheersingsmaatregelen die daadwerkelijk impact hebben in de dagelijkse praktijk. Je werkt aan opdrachten voor directeuren FEZ, CIO's en hoofden Audit, en beweegt je daarmee in zowel de financiële als de digitaliseringskolom.
Denk aan het implementeren van risicomanagement-raamwerken, het verbeteren van operationele en IT-processen en het begeleiden van organisaties bij complexe transformaties en digitaliseringstrajecten.
Ook help je overheidsorganisaties bij de verantwoorde inzet van AI en algoritmen, waarbij wet- en regelgeving, compliance, privacy en digitale weerbaarheid integraal worden meegenomen.
Daarnaast help je Internal Audit-functies hun focus te verbreden naar actuele technologische en maatschappelijke vraagstukken, zoals cyberveiligheid, cloudtransformaties, digitale soevereiniteit en verantwoord AI-gebruik
Met een combinatie van inhoudelijke expertise, technologie en verandermanagement help je organisaties duurzame verbeteringen te realiseren en ontwikkel je jezelf tot een veelzijdige adviseur. We willen ons team graag verrijken met een enthousiaste Senior Consultant die ervaring heeft in risicobeheersing en compliance binnen de publieke sector. Daarnaast heb je een sterke affiniteit met data, technologie en innovatie. Daarnaast heb je:
- Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring binnen of met de Rijksoverheid - bijvoorbeeld als IT-auditor, adviseur, controller of vanuit een CIO-office, waarin beheersing en digitalisering samenkwamen;
- Het vermogen je in beide kolommen te bewegen: je spreekt zowel de taal van de directeur FEZ als die van de CIO;
- Een afgeronde relevante WO-master;
- Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en Engels.
- Een RA-, RE- of RO-titel is een pré;
- Ervaring met GRC-tooling, data-analyse of auditwerkzaamheden binnen een publieke context is een pré.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We would like to enrich our team with an enthusiastic Senior Consultant who has experience in risk management and compliance within the public sector. You are familiar with the culture and challenges characteristic of public organizations and are skilled in navigating these complex administrative environments. In addition, you have a strong affinity with data, technology and innovation. You promote team growth through your passion for personal and professional development, both for yourself and for Junior Consultants whom you coach and guide. In addition, you have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience within or with the Dutch government - for example as an IT auditor, advisor, controller or from a CIO-office, where control and digitalization converged;
- The ability to move in both columns: you speak the language of both the FEZ director and the CIO;
- A completed relevant university Master's degree (WO-master);
- You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
- A RA, RE or RO title is a plus;
- Experience with GRC tooling, data analysis or audit activities within a public context is a plus.
