General Manager Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) at National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST).

Key Responsibilities:
To lead the development and management of long-term, sustainable partnerships between NUST, industry and VCs/ Investors, ensuring effective collaboration that contributes to innovation and results in entrepreneurial opportunities, product development, employability.
Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
1. Facilitate the development and nurturing of long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with industry and other stakeholders’ groups, to strengthen academia–industry collaboration at NUST.
2. Maintain continuous engagement and communication with different stakeholders to promote their active participation in NUST initiatives, CAC programs, and advisory forums.
3. Represent NUST at industry conferences, exhibitions, and other strategic platforms to advocate collaboration opportunities and highlight institutional capabilities.
4. Promote NUST’s research, technical expertise, and innovation portfolio to national and international stakeholders.
Program Oversight & Institutional Coordination
5. Ensure seamless coordination between schools/ colleges and the CAC to align all external engagement efforts with university goals.
6. Oversee all industry, student initiatives including competitions, seminars etc. driving social innovation, student entrepreneurship, and impact-oriented projects.
7. Determine periodic targets/ KPIs for respective CC&IL offices, monitor and support the implementation of university-wide engagement policies (e.g., Student Industry Visit Policy, Faculty Placement Program).
8. Supervise planning, budgeting, and execution of CAC led projects and events in collaboration with relevant teams.
Performance Monitoring & Documentation
9. Monitor CC&IL KPIs and ensure alignment with CAC’s annual performance indicators and NUST’s strategic objectives.
10. Oversee proper documentation, reporting, evaluation, and closure of projects, programs, and partnership activities.
Governance & Agreements
11. Review and process partnership instruments (MOUs, NDAs, and collaboration agreements) in accordance with NUST policies.
12. Ensure due diligence, compliance, and institutional approval processes for all external partnerships.
Leadership & Additional Responsibilities
13. Lead and mentor CAC team members to deliver high-quality engagement outcomes and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
14. Undertake additional assignments or responsibilities as directed by senior management.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Qualification:MS / Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management or a related field.
Experience:
Essential Experience
12 years relevant experience from reputed organization.
Desirable Experience
Individual having atleast 5 years managerial experience will be given preference.
General Conditions:
Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional). Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.
