Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role As an Associate in our Audit team, you’ll help deliver high-quality financial statement audits for clients across sectors such as banking, insurance, real estate, funds and trusts. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders and engagement teams to understand reporting processes, assess risks, and support work that helps build trust in financial information. - A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s qualification in accounting or a closely related subject.
- Chartered Accountant membership or equivalent, either in progress or attained.
- At least 18 months’ experience in an external audit role within a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards, with an interest in building deeper industry expertise.
- Strong organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex information in a practical way.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with clients, colleagues and wider teams.
