Description:

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The senior program officer will work in close coordination with team at federal and provincial level and will be broadly responsible for managing data bases, coordinating procurement activities, budget review & reconciliation and support in the implementation of iCCM, BCC and training related work plans activities. Under the technical guidance of Senior Manager Program & Communication, responsibilities include (but not limited to);

1) Assist supervisor in the implementation of program activities specifically take lead with implementation of integrated community case management project at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Balochistan.
2) Assist supervisor in the review, proof reading & finalization of training manuals, guidelines, SOPs and materials including communication related.
3) Ensure arrangement of trainings, workshops, seminars, meetings, joint monitoring visits specifically related to integrated community case management project and other program events.
4) Draft project related letters, reports, presentations, success stories and ensure meeting minutes are available.
5) Ensure availability of timely up to date data for quality reports including digitization of data of service providers, warehouse stocks, etc.
6) Coordinate with partner staff to receive regular updates, provide feedback and supervision; also share regular progress updates with supervisor.
7) Ensure proper record of programme files and other official documents related to programme activities, specifically integrated community case management project.
8) Assist in preparation of program related work plan and budget and ensure timely implementation, reporting & budget reconciliation.
9) Ensure data and other relevant information is readily available specifically for preparing monthly, bi-annual and annual reports.
10) Ensure timely payments of contractors and consultants in line with organizational formats & policies.
11) Coordination with Government Departments to ensure effective communication and relationship. Ensure receipt of relevant nominations for various events, implementing partners, and other stakeholders
12) Ensure accounts received from self-implementing districts and provincial offices are properly verified before submission.
13) Highlight compliance issues and report to supervisor on a monthly basis.
14) Any other assignment as given by supervisor

Qualification:

• Master in Social Science

Experience:
• 5 years’ experience preferably with 2 years in the health sector. Global Fund Grant experience will be an advantage.
