Description:

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following contractual positions in the Museum, Art Gallery and Archives Department, based at Karachi.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Accompanying the visitors to the Museum Department and offering additional information on displays.
• Designing display cases and setting up display areas.
• Greetings visitors upon arrival to the institution.
• Preparing objects and artefacts for display purposes.
• Researching to verify data or hypotheses.
• Handling of social Media and other digital technology.
• Operating of different equipment installed in the museum.
• Notifying senior officers when repair or replacement is required.
• Operating inventory control software of Museum’s Souvenir Shop.
• Handling of Souvenir Shop and related matters e.g. sale/purchase.
• Coordinate with vendors for preparation of different Souvenir items.
• Any other task assigned by the Director.

Qualification:

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 14 years of education) in Social Sciences, General History, Business related Education from HEC recognized university or from a reputable foreign university.

Age:
• Maximum 30 years, as on the last date to submit application. Relaxation may be allowed in case the candidate possesses additional related experience.

Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in any Museum/Art Gallery.

Employment Type:

• This job offered by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is a Contractual position. Most of the jobs on contractual positions are renewed depending the need and performance of the employee.
