Description:

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following contractual positions in the IT Programs & Project Management Department based at Karachi.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Develop enterprise level, web enabled, software solutions to automate business processes, operations and workflows utilizing Web Applications Framework / languages.
• Engage in all project phases during the full software development cycle, including design, coding, testing, post-install configuration and performance tuning, and post-install issue resolution.
• Responsible for the collection and analysis of business requirements and the translation of these requirements into a comprehensive and cohesive solution proposal.
• Develop MIS including fixed reports for publication and dynamic MIS for analytical end-users in the form of multi-dimensional cubes.
• Coordinate with DBA team for the deployment of new applications into live production environment.
• Analyze, discuss and remediate the vulnerabilities identified by IT Security Team.
• Responsible to Implement secure source code practices in relevant SDLC Phases.

Qualification:

Education:
• Minimum 16 years of education in IT, Computer Science/Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates with relevant certifications in Oracle / Java /Dot Net/ DLT will be preferred.

Age:
• Maximum 35 years, as on the last date of application submission.

Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience of application software development experience in Dot Net/Java/Oracle Apex/PHP/DLT Applications and C-Sharp Frameworks.
• Knowledge of Databases like Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/ MySQL / PostgreSQL/ NoSQL.
• Working experience of Developing and implementing end to end Enterprise Web applications.
• Working knowledge of application integration services e.g. REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.
• Candidates with API Gateways and Enterprise Service Bus implementation experience will be given preference.

• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to work in a challenging environment.
