Description:

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following contractual positions in the IT Programs & Project Management Department based at Karachi.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Assist the organization in the evolution of its application security functions and services for embedding applications security features in deployed / new business applications.
• Ensure that code reviews are adhered to across all code platforms.
• Implement / coordinate for implementing application security controls where applicable in SDLS phases.
• Manage integration with vulnerabilities assessment techniques, including Static Code Analysis and Dynamic Code Analysis.
• Discover security vulnerabilities and devise mitigation strategies, as well as report and resolve technical dependencies.
• Assist Cyber Security team to complete application security/ vulnerabilities fixing tasks.
• Act as a subject matter expert for security solutions.
• Assist & Educate application developers / engineers for application security enhancements and implementation.

Qualification:

Education:
• Minimum 16 years of education in IT, Computer Science/Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Certifications related to IT Applications Security (CISM, CEH etc.) is mandatory.

Age:
• Maximum 35 years, as on the last date of application submission.

Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in implementing application security controls and fixing of vulnerabilities of cross plat form applications.
• Hands on experience in development of security scripts for applications and databases.
