Description:

1- The role of the Pharmacy Technician is dispensing, preparing and distributing of pharmaceuticals/ Med surg supplies medications, requisitioning and managing inventory.
2- Under the supervision of Pharmacist, ensure inventory is adequately maintained and protocols are followed during change of shifts, write over register with taking over from shift, mention time, date and staff name.
3- To fill the patient requisitions / prescription accurately according to the patients drug profiles.
4- To ensure pharmaceuticals (med surges) are dispensed, packed, labeled and promptly deliver to the end user / nursing station.
5- Maintain and monitor adequate inventory stock and prepare the requisitions of required supplies.
6- Make sure light sensitive, chemo drugs, High alert and Look alike and sound alike drugs are storage / placed accordingly.
7- Maintain records of all Pharmacy related documentations.
8- Maintain record of all stock detailing fast moving / slow moving / short expiry / expired / broken, damage items.
9- Coordinate with House Keeping and Maintenance to ensure temperature, lighting and deadliness standards are adhered to in the Pharmacy.
10- Assist Pharmacist in regularly auditing stock.
11- To fill KPIs and stock cover sheets in each shift.
12- Any other task assigned by shift incharge / Pharmacy Management

Qualification:

• Dispenser Diploma from Sindh Medical Faculty / Pharmacy Council

Experience:
• At Least 1 year prior work Experience
