Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for the development, administration, and monitoring of grants for the organization. This includes identifying funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, managing grant budgets, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

He/She will also be responsible for providing support to grantees and work with other departments to ensure that grant funds are received and utilized on time.

• Identify and research funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission.
• Write grant proposals that are clear, concise, and persuasive.
• Monitor grant progress and provide reports to grantees and donors.
• Provide support to grantees, including answering questions and providing technical assistance.
• Liaise between Grantor and the organization for all matters pertaining to the receipt of funds and its eventual utilization.
• Work with other departments to ensure that grant funds are used effectively.
• Write impact reports for grantors regulatory and donor requirements.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in grant regulations and requirements.

Competencies
• Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals.
• Proficient with MS Office Word.
• Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong people skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Qualification:

• Bachelors in Marketing / Social Sciences / Public Policy / Communications or equivalent.

Experience:
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience is required
