Description:

Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic Commercial Bank, operating with a network of more than 980 branches in over 320 cities across the country, is seeking applications from individuals meeting the following criteria:

Job Responsibilities:
• Submit regulatory returns to relevant authorities State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX), Central Depository Company (CDC), etc.
• Assist in preparing agenda papers for board meeting and shareholders meeting.
• Liaison with shares registrar of the Bank.
• Handle matters pertaining to the Board of Directors, shareholders, shares registrar and general meetings.
• Maintain statutory registers and various MIS for Board of Directors.

Location:
• Head Office - Karachi

• *Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• Preference will be given to those who have qualification in Islamic Finance.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s in Commerce, Law or Master’s in Business Administration from an HEC recognized university
• Preferably member of a recognized body of Corporate or Chartered Secretaries

Experience:
• 2 to 3 years of working experience in Corporate Affairs Department

Skills & Knowledge:
• Proficient in MS Office
