Description:

Applications are invited from suitable candidates domiciled in Sindh Province for the (01 × position) of the Research Associate purely on temporary basis to work on the project (No. SHEC/SRSP/E&T-4/88/2022-23) funded under Sindh Research Support Program (SRSP) of Sindh HEC.

Terms & Condition (s):
• The selected candidate will be admissible to a fixed monthly stipend of PKR 25,000 from the project budget subject to release of funds from SINDH-HEC. Initially, the engagement will be for 06 months and can be extended on the basis of performance as per project requirement.

Qualification:

• The applicant should possess M.E (Energy/Power) with 1st division (18-year education) and currently be enrolled in PhD program of related field at MUET Jamshoro. The candidate will be required to devote full time to work on campus for the successful completion of the project.

Responsibilities/Expertise:
• The applicant should be an ambitious researcher with sound theoretical and practical knowledge on microgrid design/components and modelling with emphasis on distributed renewable energy sources. The selected applicant will carry out simulations plus lab-based tests. The applicant should possess excellent scientific writing skills for report writing, and the ability to publish the R&D work in international journals and conferences.
