Description:

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, approve and control portfolio pertains to Karachi and Baluchistan
• Frequent joint visits of existing and potential clients
• Proactively monitor portfolio and implementation of required corrective measures
• Review and approve high quality fresh assets
• Analyze credit proposals for approval or review/submission to the next higher level. It includes seasonal financing, commercial/SME credits
• Effectively assess credit risk and client (current and potential) viability including quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Prepare written denial correspondence
• Recommend facility structuring and appropriate risk mitigants in line with bank's credit policy manual and State Bank Regulations
• Participate in business meetings to conduct in-depth due diligence as well as work together with the relationship manager in structuring credit solutions
• Monitor industry concentration; maintain compliance with internal audit/controls and State Bank of Pakistan's prudential regulations on country wide basis
• Ensure that credit portfolio of the bank is in compliance with the enforced credit policies, procedures and systems with suggestions of improvements wherever possible based on business unit reviews
• Conduct PMCs and other meetings with relevant stake holders
• Manage the team of Credit Analysts and enable them to learn required skills

Qualification:

• Minimum 12 years of experience with BRR and Commercial/Retail lending
• BBA/MBA/ACCA or any other relevant degree in Finance and Economics from any HEC recognized Institute
