• Analyze credit proposals submitted by CIBG & UBL Ameen for approval or review/submission to the next higher level
• To review Credit Applications in line with Business targets, Prudential Regulations and Bank's Credit Policy to ensure a quality portfolio so that Bank's profitability can be enhanced
• Perform financial analysis of the customers using credit skills, review of financial performance, Cash flow analysis, collateral appraisal & judgement of management strategy
• Evaluation and understanding of risk associated with individual transactions, products and borrowers
• Ensure conformity of credit proposal with regulatory guidelines and Bank's Credit Policy
• Carry out need-gap analysis and collating the required information. Presenting complete information along with view on credit to the approving authority
• Participate in Portfolio Management Committee meetings and provide suggestions for improvements in the quality / health of credit portfolio
• To review MIS reports at regular intervals and co-ordinate with the Business Teams in identifying problematic accounts
• Ensure that credit portfolio of the bank is in compliance with the enforced credit policies, procedures and systems with suggestions of improvements wherever possible based on business unit reviews
• Visit premises/factories of customers from time to time
• Maintain inventory of Audit/Regulator related observations and follow up for closure of the same
• Assist in governance matters related to the group
• Prepare presentations covering various internal and external submissions to relevant stakeholders i.e. Regulators, Audit, ExCom and Senior Management

Qualification:

3 - 4 years of experience in credit risk or CIBG lending/relevant areas
BBA/BS/MBA/MS/ACCA/CA or any other relevant degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting from any HEC recognized Institute
