Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Management Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized advice on commercial, procurement, inventory, and warehouse management matters to our Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and senior management team. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of an efficient companywide supply chain management system.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the operations of the Materials Management team at Central Headquarters & MCR.
• Coordinate with senior functionaries at MCR and decision-makers at CHQ to resolve commercial issues affecting procurement support to MCR.
• Implement the annual procurement plan and evaluate the efficacy of the overall procurement function.
• Oversee policies and procedures for efficiently, economically, and productively procuring goods and services for production and operations.
• Maintain the required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
• Implement procurement and contracting strategies, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Implement strategic procurement, including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management, and performance measurement.
• Identify optimal shipment and transportation options with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
• Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Lead and coordinate plans and activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary material and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
• Promote the development of skills and expertise of the Materials &
• Supply Chain Management team through training, participation in vendor negotiation, and commercial review of new projects.
• Participate in negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service providers to secure contract terms that are fair and reflect value for money for the Company.

Qualification:

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Engineering with MBA/FCA/FCMA having at least 20 years of overall experience in Senior and Leadership positions, including Supply Chain function. The position requires candidates with a proven track record of managing procurement and contracts for multi-million-dollar projects.
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Master of Business Administration / FCMA

Experience:
• 15 - 20 years

Age Limit:
• 35 - 45 years
