The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

• Unit Head — Front Office Applications Operations (AVP / VP)
• Reporting to Wing Head — Allied Applications Operations & Support

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
• To be responsible for providing smooth operational support and associated operational tasks execution of Front-Office Applications & Interfaces and closely work under IT operations policies and SOPs
• To coordinate with the cross-functional teams while performing successful system patches and data fixing deployments
• To set KPIs, targets and duties for the team to provide smooth operational services and support
• To ensure that all assignments are performed as per Bank's policies and procedures
• To engage team and work on collecting data or requirement on the basis of IS - Audit observations
• To escalate any bottlenecks within the processes both internally and with concerned vendor(s)
• To ensure investigations and resolution of incidents in a timely manner
• To ensure that a MIS is maintained related to configuration changes, reported incidents and their onward resolutions
• To ensure that the management is provided with regular updates on all issues and incidents along with their resolutions
• To document processes and prepare / maintain user manuals / user guide of applications regarding operational tasks and duties
• To train junior team members on various IT operations related tasks and activities
• To manage, monitor and support team administratively and technically
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Assessment Interview(s)
• Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s)

Employment Type
• The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per NBP Bank's Policy / rules.

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by HEC
• Candidates having Master's degree in IT, Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or relevant certification will be preferred

Experience
• Minimum 06 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which 03 years in IT applications support
• Candidates having applications support experience in banking / financial or large-scale enterprise(s) will be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
• Ability to act as a bridge between software application support and business operations
• Basic knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages, such as C++, JavaScript, .Net
• Expertise in providing operational and 1st level technical support of IT application(s) on multiple platforms
• Excellent team management skills
• Good business understanding
• Ability to train & guide IT operations team for better support on day-to-day basis
• Good analytical skills to identify the root cause of the issue(s)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
