Description:

Services of Security Officer are required at Pak-Arab Refinery Company (PARCO). The job details are:

Duties and Responsibilities - Key Functions of Security Officer at Pak-Arab Refinery Company (PARCO) are:
• Ability to conduct Security Risk Management in accordance with company’s Security Support Strategy.
• Ability to conduct threat and risk assessments faced to installations and pipeline network and provide input on security related policies and processes in order to take informed decisions.
• Ability to prepare Business Continuity Plan.
• Ability to implement company’s Security Operating Standards / Procedures and taking of Residential Security Measures.
• Ability to mainstream Security Operating Standards / Procedures at lower levels, while ensuring substantive monitoring of security.
• Liaise and coordinate security requirements with law enforcement agencies to attract their graduated response.
 
Competencies:
• Innovation and leadership.
• Ability to improve performance and satisfaction of security staff.
• Analytical capabilities to process diverse security information to develop recommendations.
• Ability to assess threats and risks for implementation of Security Risk Management.
• Identify and oversee implementation of mitigation measures with adequate response to security incidents and events.

Qualification:

• University Degree (Minimum graduate degree or equivalent).
• Formal professional training in security risk management with preference to command and staff course.
• Bachelor of Arts (B.A)

Experience:
• A commissioned officer of the rank of Major of equivalent ex Armed Forces of Pakistan / Police, retired or retiring with completion of color service and satisfactory retirement order.
• Preference will be given to the officers of fighting arms, but it is not mandatory. 
• A minimum of 5 years of risk management or security experience gained in the operational environment (home and abroad) /corporate environment.
• 10 - 15 years

Age Limit:
• 40 - 50 years

Skill:
• Proficiency in computer for generating reports / office management. 

Language:
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Urdu is required. 
• A working knowledge of Sindhi and Punjabi would be highly desirable but is not mandatory.
