Description:

National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is hiring to fill the available job vacancy of Assistant Manager – Internal Audit at Islamabad.

National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is a government-owned not-for-profit company, established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. It provides grant financing for projects that contribute to enhancing Pakistan's resilience to climate and other natural hazards and to strengthen the governments ability to quickly respond to disasters triggered by natural hazards.

NDRMF requires the services of vibrant & qualified professionals for following Islamabad based positions on performance based contract:

• Assistant Manager – Internal Audit

Location:

Reports to:
• Chief Internal Auditor

Scope of Work:
The Assistant Manager Internal Audit, hired full-time, will work under Chief Internal Auditor and assist in conducting audits and executing the approved annual audit plan.

Detailed Tasks:
Specific tasks of the Assistant Manager Finance & Accounts will include but not be limited to the following:
1. Assist in development of the Internal Audit Charter;
2. Assist in development of the quarterly, semi-annual & annual Internal Audit Plan;
3. Assist in implementation of the Internal Audit Plan;
4. Assist in ensuring compliance with the TORs of the audit committee of the BOD;
5. Assist in preparing necessary reviews, recommendations and conclusions of auditing activities for the Board and management, considering documentary evidence;
6. Assist in coordination with the external auditing bodies;
7. Assist in review of funds flow;
8. Assist in review of the investments and the interest accrued on investments;
9. Assist in assessment of the financial reporting mechanisms and review financial reports;
10. Assist in review of work done by audit assistants for various audit functions;
11. Analyze the ledgers in relation to the data accuracy which are maintained in the financial software to detect any anomalies including trend analysis;
12. Maintaining the audit working papers regarding supporting documentations;
13. Assist in analysis of all input records received from company's departments;
14. Assist in evaluating audit evidences;
15. Assist CIA to prepare detailed audit report;

Tems & conditions

(iv) Age, Qualification and Experience etc., will be counted from the date of submission of applications. Parttime, honorary, apprentice and internee positions will not be considered/counted as experience.
(v) All candidates must have Higher Education Commission Verified/Equivalent Qualifications. Foreign qualified candidates must submit equivalence certificate(s) from Higher Education Commission. A selected candidate shall be required to submit HEC Verified Degree(s) before entering into employment, upon selection.
(vi) Candidates shall be required to produce all original documents at the time of interview.
(vii) Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for test/interview after complete scrutiny of applications. For physical test/Interview, a candidate must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test/ interview. A face to face interaction virtually through audio/video, may be opted therefore, applicants are requested to ensure that they have provided updated contact details.
(viii) NDRMF offers competitive remuneration and benefits package. Actual appointment salary will be based on NDRMF’s standards and computation, taking into account the selected individual’s qualifications and experience.
(ix) Candidates already in Government/Semi-government Organization/Autonomous Bodies & Corporations, should apply through proper channel with NOC of the respective department issued on its letter head. Also, if such candidate gets selected, s/he shall be offered the position through contract agreement.

Qualification:

• ICMA (inter) / CA (inter) / ACCA (Qualified) or MBA (finance) from recognized university.

Experience:
• Preference will be given to candidates who have completed articles from Big Four Chartered Accountant Firm.
