Description:

The Meezan Bank announced job vacancy for the post of Mechanical Engineer for HVAC & BMS at MEP, Sustainability & HSE department at Karachi.

Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic Commercial Bank, operating with a network of more than 980 branches in over 320 cities across the country, is seeking applications from individuals meeting the following criteria:

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage mechanical projects, including but not limited to Chillers, BMS, Elevators, and Plumbing systems, from initiation to completion
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution
• Supervise and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and technicians
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members are well-coordinated and aligned with project objectives
• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and operation of Chillers, BMS, Elevators, and Plumbing systems
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures to ensure uninterrupted system functionality
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and management
• Provide regular project updates and address inquiries and concerns

Location:
• Head Office - Karachi

• *Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• Preference will be given to those who have qualification in Islamic Finance.

Qualification:

• B.E/MS/M. Eng in Mechanical Engineering from an HEC recognized institute/university

Experience:
• 8 years of relevant working experience

Skills & Knowledge:
• AutoCAD- HVAC & BMS, Maintenance software, proficient in MS office
• Strong Expertise of working on plumbing systems at vertically integrated buildings
• Chiller Maintenance along with execution of installation work for Gas and Electric chillers
• Hands on Elevator design evaluation/installation, BMS implementation and relevant maintenance, building allied mechanical works (Installation and maintenance)
