The Meezan Bank announced job vacancy for the post of Plumbing Engineer at MEP, Sustainability & HSE department at Karachi.

Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic Commercial Bank, operating with a network of more than 980 branches in over 320 cities across the country, is seeking applications from individuals meeting the following criteria:

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive mechanical design for Meezan buildings, encompassing both upcoming and existing structures
• Specialize in plumbing design, ensuring the efficient and sustainable water supply and drainage systems within the buildings
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building plans
• Develop innovative and practical plumbing solutions that meet building codes and regulations, while maximizing user comfort and water conservation
• Oversee the selection of appropriate plumbing materials, fixtures, and equipment
• Visit construction sites to monitor the installation and execution of mechanical systems, with a particular focus on plumbing
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and construction teams to ensure that designs are accurately implemented

Location:
• Head Office - Karachi

• *Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• Preference will be given to those who have qualification in Islamic Finance.

Qualification:

• B.E/MS/M. Eng in Mechanical Engineering from an HEC recognized institute/university

Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience (Prior working experience on plumbing systems design and implementation at large consulting firm and contracting firms)

Skills & Knowledge:
• Autocad- HVAC & BMS, Maintenance software, proficient in MS office
• Must have strong expertise on all plumbing fixtures and faucets
• Must have expertise of water engineering- worked on water conservation projects -underground water extraction projects
• Designing expertise of sewage systems of vertically integrated buildings
