Description:

Pak-Arab Refinery Company (PARCO) has announced job vacancy of Production Planning Engineer.

The job responsibilities of Production Planning Engineer at Pak-Arab Refinery Company (PARCO) are:
• Calculation of Daily crude oil, intermediate and finished products inventories. 
• Preparation of daily productions and sales report, weekly crude oil scheduling plan to achieve optimum crude blend for charging.
• Evaluation and reporting of Optimum crude blend utilizing LP based planning software to achieve high Gross Refinery Margin. 
• Prepare intermediates / products Inventory Management Plan and compare it with actual productions and sales. 
• Evaluation and utilization of economical Refinery fuel in own use system.   
• Liaise with Process, Laboratory, Oil Movement and M&C Sections of the Refinery regarding product sales status. 
• Participate in conducting special studies and analysis to prepare for turnarounds and shutdowns. 
• Issue and implement daily instructions as per real time operational constraints for safe, reliable and economical operation of refinery. 
• New Crude Oil evaluation and Economic analysis of refinery products in different scenarios using HCAMS and LP software. 
• Prepare annual production, crude & utilities budget. 
• Prepare plant economical loss report in case of power failure / dip / operational constraints. 
• Ensure secrecy of the company’s confidential and classified information. 
• Ensure compliance of company policies.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from a local or foreign HEC recognized university with valid registration as Engineer with PEC.
• Knowledge of Refinery operations and Process units (CDU/ VDU, NHT/ PLAT, HCU, DHT, ISOM) is required.
• Experience with MS office applications and LP based production planning software is a must. 
• Proficient with Aspen Hysys Process Modeling and Aspen Unified PIMS Software will be an added advantage.
• Thorough understanding of Refinery Process Units, knowledge of Crude Oil Storage and handling, Intermediate and Products blending operations and ability to work in dynamic environment.
• Should be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication, must have technical report writing skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving and time-management skills.

Experience:
• 3 - 5 years
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemical industry/ Fertilizer. 

Age Limit:
• 25 - 30 years
