Description:

Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) has announced job vacancy of Assistant Engineer in the Process Department. The job offered by Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) will be at various fields of Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and enforce all applicable Company, safety and environmental regulations.
• Execute Startup, shutdown and operating procedures for gas treatment plant, gas compressors, furnaces, distillation towers, expanders, electric motors, fans, pumps instrumentation, valves and alarms.
• Analyze flow streams using a gas chromatograph and make necessary process adjustments to maintain product specifications.
• Knowledge of minor maintenance of compressors, engines, pumps, controls, pipping and valves.
• Generate daily production reports including liquid production, downtime and gas volumes.
• Coordinate and oversee the transfer of liquid products into trucks, tanks and pipelines.
• Make work permits after safely preparing for maintenance and notify maintenance personnel of problem areas

Qualification:

• DAE (Chemical)

Experience:

• Minimum 03 years of professional experience preferable in petro-chemical industry.

Skills:

• Operations of onshore oil & gas treatment facilities.
• Knowledge of pumps, gas compressors and turbine operations.
• DCS / PLC experience, control room operations, occupational and process safety knowledge.
