Description:

Functions/Duties (Key Responsibilities)
Assist the DD Adm & Coord in his duties to security related matters of NBC.
· Check weapons/equipment/ammunition.
· In case of an untoward incident, inform Competent Authority and then carry out the investigation as instruction.
· Responsible for issuance of NUST ID cards officers & NG Staff, entry passes/ vehicle stickers, residential cards and labor cards to the construction companies in the university.
· Carry out surprise visit to ensure that all guards/supervisors are performing their duties as per SOP/instructions.
· Ensure that no un authorized person is allowed by staff to enter in the Campus.
· Be OIC of firefighting team in case of fire.
· Monitor entry of faculty/staff/students/labor from the gates of NBC and will monitor daily in his presence especially at the morning.
· Manage leave and rotation plan of security guards.
· Keep close liaison with all departments to facilitate them.
· Perform any other duty as assigned by the Campus Director / Dean NBC.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES
· Able to manage security maintenance.
· Deal with security complaints politely & efficiently with the aim of ensuring the issue is resolved to their satisfaction.
· Ability to get things done efficiently and effectively.
· Control and Monitor security support staff and passed the instructions in time.
· Ability to work with multiple priorities at the same time and handle unexpected situations successfully
· Have a flexible approach to work
· Creates a positive environment through own passion and energy
· Commitment to ethical professional practice.
· Good communication and interpersonal & IT skills.
· Physically fit to perform the duties pertaining to the position.

Terms & Conditions

-       Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
-       Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
-       3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
-   NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
-       In process of pursuing a required degree.
-       Medically unfit.
-       Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
-       Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
-       Individuals living in Quetta, Karachi and adjacent areas are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualification:

· BSc (Hons), MBA/Masters degree from any HEC recognized university
· Retired Armed Forces Personal (Major / equivalent) with requisite experience are also eligible to apply

Age Limit: 25 - 45 years

Experience
Minimum 3-5 years experience in relevant field
